We have an opportunity at our Meadowbrook office for a forward-thinking and proactive External Sales Representative to join our Fantech Trade Team. With a focus on supporting and growing our existing wholesaler network and customer base, the successful candidate will join a highly motivated sales team, and contribute to the ongoing growth of the Fantech Trade market segment.
The Role
- Managing accounts in a dedicated territory including the northside of Brisbane and regional areas of south western Queensland with a strong emphasis on development of new business as well as maintaining an existing customer base.
- Developing working relationships with customers and representing Fantech Trade at special events such as Trade Nights & Exhibitions, Golf Days and BBQs.
- Merchandising of Fantech Trade products to ensure that products are presented in line with Fantech guidelines.
- Working with the Internal Sales team to ensuring timely, accurate and competitive quotations including timely follow up of all outstanding quotations
- Develop a strong customer understanding identifying areas Fantech Trade can bring the greatest value to grow our business.
- Active participation in promotion & giveaways including digital campaign and social media content & promotion delivery with face-to-face customer interaction
Who are you?
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Exceptional customer service and presentation skills
- Proven sales skills and the ability to negotiate orders and problem solve
- Demonstrated previous experience with Electrical Wholesalers and or Electrical Contractors
- A high level of motivation and commitment to achieving outstanding sales results
- A valid Driver's license
- Superior interpersonal skills and well developed written and verbal communication skills
A knowledge of, and brief understanding of Air Movement is advantageous to this role but not essential.
