Fabrication Estimator - Full Time - Perth Based

Camco Engineering is currently looking for a Fabrication Estimator in their Belmont Division on a Full-Time basis.

The primary focus of the role is as a Fabrication Estimator. Experience in fabrication, welding, machining and assembly projects would be an advantage.

You will be required to prepare estimates and quotes, reviewing tenders and contracts, procuring materials, goods and services and initiating production documents, document non-conformances, initiate and process corrective actions and preventive actions, sign off non-conformances, and sign off completed jobs.

This role would be most suited for an energetic and talented individual that has the ability to manage all estimating tasks for both, quotation and tendering of Fabrication and Welding packages. 

The ideal candidate must display the following:

• Ability to review tender documentation, both technically and commercially.
• Proven track record in contract negotiation.
• Capability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to manage and support employees.
• Demonstrate exceptional time management skills.
• Familiarity with quality assurance, contract documentation and interpretation of mechanical drawings and material take-offs.
• Strong industry knowledge of Welding Processes and Welding Development.
• Clear communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Commitment to HSE and QA as a priority.
• Ability to work unsupervised and within a team.
• Experience as Project Manager in the mining sector (desirable)
• Trade Qualification in Fabrication and Welding.
