Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, a passion for customer service, and the ability to lead and motivate a team. As our Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service, quality, and cleanliness while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily cafe operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Supervise and train staff, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Oversee food and beverage preparation and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, sales, and expenses.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Organize events and promotions to enhance the cafe's community presence.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cafe Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations and best practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in POS systems.
- A diploma in hospitality management is a bonus.
- The annual earnings for this position from AUD 70,000.
