About the Role
Due to our continued growth we are currently seeking boilermakers to be based at our Muswellbrook branch performing Workshop and or Minesite work.

Our Boilermakers play a vital role in our business and are responsible for maintaining the companies' excellent reputation of high quality steel fabrication and repair that is paramount to our valued customers.
Key Duties
- A demonstrated safety first work ethic and professional attitude
- Welding using MIG, stick and TIG (TIG not essential but looked upon favourably)
- Heavy and Light Fabrication (Dozers, Buckets, Dippers etc)
- Competent in all facets of oxy-acetylene processes
- Undertaking steel fabrication and repairs to high standards
- Ability to adapt to changing work requirements
- Ability to read plans and produce detailed quality work
- Excellent communication skills
- Willing to both contribute and learn from others; and
- The ability to build clear and open communication with clients, management, supervisors, leading hands and team members.
The successful applicant will possess the following skills
- Appropriate trade qualifications in Boilermaking (Statement of Attainment)
- Glencore Site Inductions (Desirable)
- Hold a current Order43 Medical OR willing to obtain one
- A demonstrated high level welding ability in heavy/light steel fabrication and repairs
- Current weld test certifications will be looked upon favourably
- Proven capacity to problem solve with excellent time management skills
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Strong commitment to safe work practices
- Current drivers licence
- Possess, or be willing to obtain an MR drivers licence
