SalaryThe Lift Group is a Queensland based company who specialise in the supply of new Elevated Work Platforms (EWP's), Crane Borers Vehicle Loading Cranes (VLC's) including service and ongoing maintenance. We also specialise in carrying out 10 year major re-builds.
Job Description:
We are currently are seeking a reliable and self-motivated boilermaker/skilled welder with sheet metal experience to join our production team. The appropriate candidates must be reliable, hardworking, be able to read engineered drawings and work with minimal supervision. You will possess a sharp attention to detail and also have a strong OH&S focus.
Position
Fabrication of sub-frame / truck bodies, tool boxes, handrails, covers etc on a wide range of new product builds. Support the Lift team with various specialised weld repairs and parts fabrication.
Standard 38 hour week with a lunch time finish on Fridays.
Consistent overtime available with paid penalty rates.
Requirements
* Trade qualification in truck body building or metal fabrication.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
* Preferred 3 years experience.
* An eye for detail.
* The ability to interpret workshop drawings.
* Strong organisational skills and problem solving ability.
* Meet deadlines and forward planning skills.
* Maintain a safe workplace and comply with all OH&S requirements.
* Preferred forklift licence.
* Previous experience in a heavy machinery workshop is advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Forklift license (preferred but not mandatory)
