About the role
Full-time permanent hybrid opportunity, located in either Milton, or Mudgeeraba, QLD to provide service delivery in Brisbane, Gold Coast and surrounding region.
The role will include frequent travel to regional and rural areas throughout QLD and Northern NSW, therefore applicants in Brisbane will also be required to travel to the Gold Coast, while those in the Gold Coast region may also need to travel intra-state from Brisbane Airport.
Reporting directly to the Team Leader of the Centre for Dementia Learning, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering, assessing, and evaluating structured professional education sessions both accredited and non-accredited
- Assisting in strengthening relationships with organisations as part of the delivery process by promoting Dementia Australia programs and services
- Delivering education programs face to face at a range of locations including aged care facilities, community/home care services, NDIS, hospital and public venues
- Delivering online and virtual classroom programs via Teams and Zoom
- Utilising a continuous improvement approach to all tasks and initiatives, including reviewing and developing courses, ensuring programs comply with an array of professional standards and ensuring that education is delivered to the highest standard
- Frequent intra-state travel, and occasional inter-state travel

About you
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate field including but not limited to; allied health, nursing, leisure and lifestyle;
And either:
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or its successor TAE40122)
OR
- Diploma or higher level qualification in adult education.
- Demonstrated experience in the design, delivery, and assessment of adult education.
- Demonstrated experience of professionally working with people living with dementia.
- Demonstrates inclusive behaviour; listens, values and acknowledges others; is open and respectful to the contributions and ideas of others.
- Continually develops and applies specialist and technical skills and expertise to achieve work outcomes.
- Embraces learning and development opportunities and welcomes constructive feedback.
- As this role requires frequent travel, a valid driver?s licence and car is required.
