Facilities And Maintenance Assistant

We are looking for a skilled Facilities and Maintenance professional to join our Sydney-based team on a permanent part-time (2 days/week) basis.

About the Role:

• Responsible for carrying out a variety of property related tasks such as ground, facilities, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance and gardening.
• This role is vital in ensuring a high standard of maintenance, good stewardship, beauty, order, and safety of the MC grounds and buildings.
• The role is 15.2 hours/week (0.4 FTE) on the Morling College Sydney campus.
• Remuneration: $22,477/annum - $26,906.52/annum excl. Super, depending on experience.

Qualifications:

• Driver's license.
• Trade qualifications in horticulture or another trade desirable.
• Boom lift (skyjack) license advantageous.

Experience and Knowledge:

• Experience in building and Maintenance or a similar field essential.
• Experience in gardening and horticulture or a similar field desirable.
• Experience in zero-turn ride-on motors desired.
• Demonstrated experience in self-managing a variety of projects.
• Demonstrated experience in managing people and projects.

Skills, Character, and Qualities:

• Demonstrated Christian character and involvement in a local evangelical church.

• Possesses an attitude of service and ownership of outcomes.
