Facilities and Town Services Manager

Applications are invited from an experienced Facilities and Town Services Manager. As the Diamantina Shire Council’s Facilities and Town Services Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating Council’s town services, facilities, and properties teams.

In this role you, no two days are the same, as you will be coordinating teams across the Shire in both Bedourie and Birdsville to ensure that Council’s towns and facilities are well maintained. For a full overview of the requirements of this position, please refer to the that is linked below.

This position is based in Bedourie which is a small but vital town with fantastic modern facilities including 24/7 health services, schools, sporting facilities and twice weekly flights to/from Brisbane/Mt Isa.

On offer are above award wages, monthly RDO’s and 6 weeks’ annual leave. A comfortable home is available in Bedourie at heavily subsidised rent (approximately $150/week for 3 bedroom, partially furnished dwellings).
