  • $140k base + salary packaging + super (pro-rata for part time)

We have a highly engaged, diverse and collaborative workforce that is unified by our purpose, which is to help people live healthy and fulfilled lives.About Asset ServicesThe Asset Services Department is committed to providing the highest standard of specialised asset management and engineering maintenance to all of Austin Health’s campuses.Asset Services is part of the Information & Services directorate and is responsible for the operation, maintenance, repair and replacement of all buildings, plant, and specified medical equipment. The department holds accountability for Austin Health’s Facility Maintenance, Biomedical Engineering and Maintenance Service teams.This position is predominately located at the Austin Hospital, but the appointee may be required to work or visit other Austin Health sites, and may work remotely as agreed.About the roleThis is an exciting role that will require interaction with every part of the hospital. It is focused around ensuring our facilities and assets are held to a standard to support patient care and staff comfort.A regular day will see you:
  • interacting with our service providers
  • Resolving issues with failing infrastructure
  • Negotiating various things with stakeholders
  • Creating plans to minimise disruptions
About youYou need to be someone that wants to be out in the mix of things, seeing people and building relationships. Establishing yourself as the go to person to provide solutions for our extensive workforce and facilities. You need to able to negotiate and think out of the box to achieve success.To be successful in this role you'll bring with you:
