The opportunity: An exciting and challenging opportunity currently exists for a Property Maintenance & Repairer with a solid trade and maintenance background to assist our Maintenance Facility team.
The purpose of this role is to provide and internal repair and general maintenance service across our bus network and 12 depots including bus-stop signage and property. The role will ensure legal requirements and health & safety standards are met.
Key responsibilities include:
- Minor repairs to property at depots
- Co-ordinate quotes for depot repairs
- Conduct repairs to bus stops, including signage, line marking, timetable cases and property
- Focus on OH & S whilst conducting all activities
The successful applicant will meet the following key criteria:
- Experience working in a similar position or trade (desirable)
- Experience with basic maintenance, repairs, carpentry and building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Current drivers’ licence
- Excellent planning and organisation skills
- Understanding of continuous improvement and risk management
