Facilities Maintenance Planner and Scheduler

The Facilities Maintenance Planner and Scheduler works within the Engineering and Facilities Services (EFS) Branch, which consists of three teams: Facilities Management; Industrial Engineering; and Products and Process Engineering. Working within the Facilities Management team, the Facilities Maintenance Planner and Scheduler reports directly to the Facilities Asset Manager.
The Facilities Maintenance Planner and Scheduler’s primary focus is to develop and monitor work schedules to support the delivery of preventive maintenance and capital programs. The Mint’s Asset Management Strategies, Policies, Procedures and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) govern this work package.
The successful applicant is required to work full-time and on-site.
The duties of this position include:
1. Planning work initiated through various stakeholders, ensuring that the required resources are available and work is carried out in line with Asset Maintenance Plans, asset criticalities and SLAs (where applicable).
2. Analysing and providing advice on system based data in order to identify trends in asset performance, resource utilisation and parts availability.
3. Determining and monitoring labour capacity in order to develop monthly work plans to maximise resource utilisation.
4. Liaising with various internal stakeholders to ensure preventive maintenance programs are delivered within targets.
5. Providing ad hoc training and support to staff to effectively use the CMMS and while working collaboratively with branch managers.
6. Developing/reviewing standard Work plans in RAM to ensure a consistent approach is delivered for recurring work orders.
7. Ensuring CMMS Work Management data quality and integrity to improve performance and support management decisions.
Security clearance
This position requires a Baseline security clearance. The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.
