Join Our Team as a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor in the Maritime Industry at Strait Link!
Are you ready to take charge of critical operational infrastructure and Facilities Maintenance in a dynamic maritime environment? Strait Link is seeking a skilled and motivated Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Burnie and Melbourne on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As part of our National Equipment Operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our shore based maritime infrastructure and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the maintenance of critical operational infrastructure and general facilities in the maritime industry
- Plan, schedule, and supervise sub-contractor activities
- Ensure compliance with statutory and safety regulations and business requirements
- Develop and implement maintenance plans for business-critical maritime infrastructure
- Maintain repair and maintenance records in the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Skills and Experience:
- Commercial/industrial electrical trade qualification
- Experience with CMMS such as Pronto, SAP, MEX, JDE
- Strong hydraulic and electrical systems knowledge
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and with limited supervision
Qualifications:
- Electrical trade qualification
- Tertiary qualification in facilities management is an advantage
- Driver's licence
