Your new role

This is a crucial senior leadership role in one of the top businesses in the Australian energy industry. As the Engineering Manager, you will have 10 -15 direct reports with various other indirect reports while also managing external consultants. You will manage multiple different disciplines within this business unit with a focus on electrical distribution planning and energy connections. You will enjoy being part of one of the most collaborative teams in the industry with excellent career growth opportunities and company benefits on offer.

What you'll need to succeed

• Tertiary / Degree Qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Currently, hold, or are capable of gaining, registration with a Victorian Business Licensing Authority as a Professional Engineer in the field of Electrical Engineering.
• Advanced experience, (10+ years) in an electricity energy industry business, Distribution, Transmission, Substations, Power Generation
• Demonstrated experience as a people leader in an electricity industry or engineering services role managing technical resources for the delivery of works programs, portfolios, or projects.
• Detailed knowledge of the electricity industry, specifically regulated electricity networks, with an understanding of the related standards, codes, regulations, and obligations of a Distribution Network Service Provider.
