We are currently seeking a Facilities Managerto join our team in Brisbane CBD on a 14-week fixed-term contract, starting on 1 April to 5 July 2024. This role is suited to a Commercial Facilities Manager with strong customer service skills, high attention to detail, ability to multi-task and able to hit the ground running. The role will be accountable for the efficient management of all building services and tenant satisfaction on assigned building. This role requires a 7.30am start, allowing the FM to walk the building before the tenants arrive for their day. This position will report into the Senior Facilities Manager.
What You Will Need To Be Successful:
- Demonstration of accomplished building technical systems knowledge
- You have previous experience supervising and managing building contractors
- Database management
- Complete monthly reports as required
- Complete Accident Incident Reports and conduct investigations
- Ensure all contractors working on assigned building and surrounding sites are inducted and comply with building safety regulations and requirements
- Skilled and proficient management of building operations for all building control systems
- You drive operational results and act proactively when required
- Well-developed customer service skills with experience delivering superior service to customers
- Effective relationship management through strong customer focus and service.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- You manage your time effectively, ensuring financial reporting is provided in an accurate and timely manner.
- You are an experienced and proficient user of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to learn corporate processes and systems quickly
- Trade certificate (electrical or air conditioner) or relevant degree qualifications preferred
- Previous Facilities Management experience gained within A Grade Commercial Office asset management
- Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Competent in MS office word and excel
- Strong customer focus, service oriented
- Demonstration of accomplished building technical systems knowledge
- You have previous experience in managing building contractors to ensure all planned works minimise interruption to tenants
- Trade qualification background, coupled with previous Facilities Management experience gained within Commercial Office or Retail asset management
- Skilled and proficient management of building operations for all building control systems
- Competence in using operational data to inform decisions
- Well-developed customer service skills with experience delivering superior service to customers
- Effective relationship management through strong customer focus and service.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- You manage your time effectively, ensuring financial reporting is provided in an accurate and timely manner
- You are an experienced and proficient user of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to learn corporate processes and systems quickly
