Your responsibilities...
This facilities management role will provide efficient operations of company owned premises and leased properties. This is a broad role covering
- Organisation and execution of maintenance of offices, warehouses and showrooms around Australia
- Management of onsite audits and record-taking
- Vendor management (the organisation has a number of long serving suppliers across air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, security, grounds keeping and cleaning)
- Live and breathe the compliance of safety standards and security protocols, including Fire Warden responsibilities
- Quotes and execution of maintenance, along with follow up with trades and vendors
- Taking a lead role in creating a safe and productive environment for your colleagues
- Use of internal systems for quotes, purchasing and budgeting
- Maintain regular communication with a wide variety of internal stakeholders affected by maintenance, updates and repairs
- Live and breathe the compliance of safety standards and security protocols, including Fire Warden responsibilities
- Co-ordination of the company car fleet from new car requests, maintenance, tolls, fuel, repairs etc.
You are/have...
- Experience in a similar role is ideal, with an emphasis on the management of warehouse facilities and safety protocols.
- Ability to project manage facility upgrades and extensions and liaise with builders and internal stakeholders
- Solid PC skills for effective coordination and documentation of maintenance issues and their resolution.
- Teamwork and the ability to work in tandem with multiple departments and stakeholders.
- Solid financial acumen for budget management and assessing quotes
- You must be someone who loves to show some initiative and take a proactive approach to planning and execution.
- Detail-oriented: An eye for detail to identify small improvements and act. Detail and the highest quality is a reflection of the company brand and therefore high standards must be maintained.
