Facilities Manager

Signature Hospitality Group, one of Australia’s most beloved hospitality brand operators and developers, is seeking a dedicated Facilities Manager to join our team in our South Melbourne office. As a rapidly expanding business with iconic brands like The Sporting Globe Bar & Grill, TGI Fridays, and W.J. Wills Eatery, we are looking for a Facilities Manager to oversee the ongoing operation and maintenance of venues across our national portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilities Maintenance Plan:

• Assist in developing a National Maintenance Plan.
• Manage asset lifecycle, depreciation schedules, annual maintenance programs, and OH&S compliance.

Repairs and Maintenance:

• Own the repairs and maintenance for venues and head office.
• Liaise with landlords and property managers for maintenance.
• Manage equipment/assets lifecycle and relationships with subcontractors.

Risk Analysis:

• Conduct risk assessments on maintenance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with OHS, WHS, and annual asset requirements.

Project Management – Refurbishment Projects:

• Support major refurbishment projects.
• Assist in stakeholder communication and O&M manual development.
• Manage Defects Liability Period post-venue opening.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of facilities maintenance and contractor management.
• Understanding of OH&S Act, Australian Building Standards, and WHS Act.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management.
• Experience in retail environments preferred.

Other Information:

• Travel interstate is required.
• Possession of a current Australian driver’s license.
