Your day to day:
- Manage all contractors/consultants for facilities related operational requirements i.e. cleaning, utilities, security, essential services, air conditioning, repair and maintenance, emergency response etc.
- Project Manage office fit outs, relocations, CAPEX upgrades and refurbishments (sourcing quotes/budgeting/forecasting/reporting/managing suppliers/liaising with stakeholders).
- Develop and maintain emergency response management processes and procedures at all locations including first aid and warden requirements – this includes “risk activities”
- Ensuring adequate staff are trained up on first aid training, fire warden training and mental health first aid training and ensuring compliance of such
- Develop strong stakeholder relationships with tenants to reduce vacancy levels, contractors for managing building works remotely, and State Managers for working through building issues and resolutions
- Develop comprehensive reports when required
- Support with day to day maintenance and running of facilities and staff requirements, such as coordinating of parking availability and desk sharing, equipment orders and maintenance
- 3 to 4 years proven experience in Facilities Management
- Excellent technical understanding of the built environment with the ability to interpret data
- Experience with various cloud based softwares
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite of software ( Excel/Word/Outlook)
- Advanced written skills to produce quality reports for the Board and associated committees
