Manage the Facilities Soft Service Contract function for a large cluster of the NSW State Government!

Location: Sydney
Job Type: Initially 6 Months w/ Perm
Salary: $1200 Per Day + Super
About the Role:
We are in search of a Facilities Soft Services Cleaning Manager to lead the contract management and delivery of Cleaning and Waste services across a diverse NSW State Government property portfolio. This pivotal role ensures our facilities meet the highest standards, supporting our academic and research missions. As the main liaison between our operations and stakeholders, the ideal candidate will ensure our services exceed client expectations within available resources.
Responsibilities:

• Direct management of Cleaning and Waste Budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and compliance.
• Oversee all cleaning operations, minimising disruptions and aligning with our service delivery model.
• Coordinate with our Prime Cleaning Contractor and stakeholders to maintain optimal facility conditions.
• Ensure all operational activities comply with legal and safety standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in service delivery through regular performance assessments.
• Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage expectations and deliver exceptional service.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in facilities management, specifically in cleaning and waste services.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, with a high level of initiative and judgement.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of managing diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Comprehensive understanding of WHS obligations and compliance requirements.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement.
