About the
Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a hands on role as
a Facilities Support Officer in the Business
Services team within the Corporate Services branch located in
Adelaide. The Facilities Support Officer supports the Business
Services unit with business activities and administrative services;
including DEW Accommodation Helpdesk, corporate function/tasks for
the department, general administrative duties and facilities-based
projects across DEW as required. The role offers a diverse breadth
of activities relating to facilities and accommodation with the
opportunity for site visits across the state. If you're passionate

About
You:
To be
successful in this position, you must be able to demonstrate
experience across the following key capabilities:
Effective oral and
written communication skills, especially in reporting,
resolving conflicts and fostering stakeholder
relationships.
Strong
planning skills to ensure deadlines are met and priorities are
revised to meet changing
circumstances.
Demonstrated ability
to work independently while also collaborating effectively
within a team.
Sound
understanding of external contract management and compliance to
agreed standards and
specifications.
Demonstrated
understanding of Across Government Facilities Management
Arrangements (AGFMA) and government and agency requirements and
practices for facilities management, project management and
procurement.
Sound
working knowledge of WHS principles and practices as they apply
to the administering of minor facilities/accommodation
works.
Proficient and
accurate in the use of the Microsoft suite of software
applications including word processing, excel and
outlook.
Proficient or willing
to learn the use of Challenger Security system, Panorama,
Basware, CabCharge TMS, Service Request Portals and or similar
associated software applications as required to undertake their
role.

Contract for
up to 12 months
Special
Conditions:
May be
required to participate in fire management or associated
duties.
Current class
“C" driver's licence.
May be
required to undertake intra or interstate travel and work
outside of normal hours of work.
This
role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the
standards required in the Australian Government Protective
Security Policy Framework. By applying for this role you
consent to being screened under the process of obtaining a
National Police Clearance (NPC), and to the Department
requiring you to obtain an NPC.
Remuneration:
ASO3 - $66,590
min - $70,968 max p.a.
