Support Services Eyre and Far North Local Health Network, Ceduna District Health Services, Ceduna Salary: $27.93 - $28.23 per hour + 25% casual loading - Casual (up to 30 June 2025) - WHA2 Overview As the Facility & Grounds Officer, you'll oversee general maintenance tasks related to both the interior and exterior of the health unit. Your duties will span from rubbish collection to minor carpentry, painting, plumbing, mechanical upkeep, and Grounds maintenance. While your experience in building and Grounds maintenance may be limited, you'll possess the necessary skills to perform tasks under general direction, utilizing a diverse array of hand and power tools. Your commitment to task completion within designated timelines, coupled with your ability to follow instructions and established practices, will be integral to your success. Moreover, you'll demonstrate a solid grasp of Occupational Health Safety & Welfare regulations pertinent to maintenance activities. Your collaborative spirit and willingness to contribute as an effective team member will be highly valued in this role, ensuring seamless operations and upkeep within the health unit. The Ceduna District Health Services is run by the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network and includes Ceduna Hospital. Ceduna Hospital has 15 inpatient beds and provides services including emergency, surgical, general medicine, birthing, renal dialysis, diagnostic radiology and outpatients. There are also residential aged care services provided within the hospital, at the Kuhlmann Wing and Ceduna Senior Citizens Village. There is also a GP family practice, Community Health services, Allied Health services, and Child, Adolescent and Adult Mental Health services offered on the hospital site.
