Your Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the overall day to day operations including delivery and monitoring of care and support in conjunction with a supportive local and corporate management team. In this role the manager is to ensure the facility fosters and maintains a culture of person-centered care, continuous improvement and meets the requirements of accreditation at all times in line with the Aged Care Code of Conduct and Ozcare Values.
Your tasks will include:
- Provide strong and consistent leadership to the team
- Promote a culture of service delivery excellence that aims to improve the wellbeing and lifestyle of our clients
- Maintain a financially sustainable business
- Deliver innovative care and service
- Monitor and evaluate care and support in accordance to requirements, standards and codes
- Ensure staff are delivery care and support in accordance with Ozcare business processes
- Forward business planning and input to strategic directions

Essential Requirements
- Current nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated management and leadership
- Ability to understand and respond to underlying causes for clients and relatives behaviour and feelings
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or Police Screening Certificate
- A current Queensland Drivers Licence
- First aid and CPR certificate required within one month of commencement
- Be vaccinated (and maintain up-to-date vaccinations) against Influenza and Covid-19
- Qualify as Key Personnel
Desirable Requirements
While not essential requirements, Ozcare will consider any of the following favourably:
- Clinical management experience
- Formal relevant post graduate qualifications in management
