Facility Manager - Strathpine Aged Care

The Outside Group Recruitment are seeking an experienced Facility Manager at Strathpine Aged Care to lead this new facility in achieving its mission, values and strategic objectives. As the Facility Manager, you will play a crucial role in continuing the success of our Home and our team. Strathpine is a modern, 97 bed Aged Care Home that opened in January of this year, as part of the Tingari Group of homes.  The Tingari Group's philosophy is that they care for residents who live in a home that is theirs, not ours.  They provide care to their residents in the same way that they would for their own family. The Facility Manager vacancy is a rare opportunity due to the high staff retention rate within the Tingari Group.

Key Accountabilities of the Role:

• Ensure that care is provided to the Tingari Group standards.
• Build an enjoyable environment for residents that respects their choices and cultural diversity.
• Identify innovative uses of technology and leadership practices to improve resident quality of life and operational productivity.
• Develop high-performance and resident-focused teams aligned with our values.
• Drive continuous improvement activities to enhance care & service delivery, productivity, and business efficiencies.
• Identify opportunities/strategies for achieving occupancy targets.
• Manage the Home to ensure financial, commercial, marketing, and administrative activities are performed effectively.

Key Performance Measures:

• Compliance with Aged Care legislative & regulation requirements.
• Achievement of financial targets, including occupancy level and budgeted profitability.
• Staff turnover rate, engagement, and performance.

Key Selection Criteria:

• Leadership and supervision skills in an Aged Care environment.
• Extensive operational management experience, including human resources, budgeting, and clinical management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate a multi-disciplinary team for quality care outcomes.

Qualifications:

• APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, or Management.
