What you'll be doing
The role works closely with the Research Operations Manager and broader Operations Team to provide safe and functional workspaces and equipment for all stakeholders through maintaining assets and registers, maintaining ongoing service contracts and Building management system as required. The role is a key contact for internal service departments and external vendors/service providers and managing these relationships in a proactive and positive way is critical for enhancing KR operations.
All staff in the Research Office are expected to work flexibly to achieve urgent and changing priorities as required.
- At least 5 years current/ relevant experience in facility and asset management.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple deadlines.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
- Demonstrated high level customer-focus skills with the ability to deal confidentially and courteously with people at all levels.
- Demonstrated capacity to be proactive, take initiative, and consult with a can-do attitude.
- High-level problem solving skills with the capacity to develop sound solutions to problems and issues with acute attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Demonstrated highly developed computer skills, including keyboard duties, and experience with data entry, word processing, procurement/financial systems, use of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Power Point), internet browsers, and information systems.
- Demonstrated high level customer-focus skills with the ability to deal confidentially and courteously with people at all levels.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
