The Opportunity
BAC is experiencing significant growth.
We are seeking an experienced Factory Supervisor to lead our factory team on the afternoon shift - 2:00pm to 11:00pm, reporting to the Plant Operations Supervisor.
Responsibilities include
- Supervise the production team of up to 20 employees (permanent/casual) across multiple sections - fabrication, assembly, coils, yard, and parts.
- Deliver the production plan to quality standards, whilst meeting/exceeding our productivity and safety goals.
- Provide clear direction and feedback to team members.
- Motivate and develop the team via BAC's learning programs.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of our systems and processes.
- Demonstrate behaviours that align with our values of Courage, Innovation, Responsibility and Trust.
What you will bring to the BAC Team
- Your drive, determination and passion for Australian manufacturing.
- Minimum 2 year's experience in a supervisory role.
- Learning ability to understand BAC’s products and interpret fabrication and assembly instructions including technical drawings.
- Competent in systems such as Syteline, Skytrust, SAP, MS Office – Excel.
- Excellent communication skills – listening, verbal and written.
- Excellent people leadership skills.
- You may have a relevant trade qualification.
- Experience working with sheet metal is advantageous.
