Job description

(HE07) $95,017 - $106,270 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% Superannuation. Full-Time, Continuing Position

Based within the Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics we have an exciting career opportunity for an Accreditation Officer to join our team.

In this role you will be responsible for providing specialist advice and support relating to the relevant accreditations within the Adelaide Business School, School of Education and Adelaide Law School. This includes the drafting and presentation of comprehensive reports and statistics, as well as management of the ISO 9001 and 44001 certifications.

Responsibilities include (further information is detailed within the position description):

  • Provide specialist advice on accreditation requirements to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor and maintain the database of documents that demonstrate alignment to accreditation standards and measures.
  • Draft comprehensive reports and correspondence related to relevant accreditations, including identifying and presenting accreditation compliance through data analysis.
  • Provide statistical support and data analysis regarding research, learning and teaching, and engagement activities. Work collaboratively with staff involved with the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation to assist with the requirements necessary for continuous improvement and to ensure accreditation is maintained. Draft and coordinate the necessary submissions for AACSB accreditation.
  • Manage the ISO 9001 and 44001 certifications, including the development and implementation of new policies and processes for the Adelaide Business School, critical to the success of the certifications.

 

We are looking for experience in the areas below: 

  • Previous experience in Quality Assurance, Accreditation, and Auditing
  • Experience in researching, drafting reports, writing documents, and making recommendations for a wide audience.
  • Demonstrated analytical and report writing skills (both quantitative and qualitative)
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, under pressure, prioritise and manage work commitments, and deliver on deadlines. 
  • Demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills and communication skills, including the ability to liaise and develop relationships with staff from diverse backgrounds and levels both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of software applications, including Microsoft Suite
  • Previous experience in the tertiary or education sector (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience in preparing documents for accreditation bodies.
