There are 3 positions available:
- 1 permanent full time Brisbane
- 1 permanent full time Townsville
- 1 temporary full time Brisbane until 27 June 2025
- Conduct clinical and forensic assessments of families and children.
- Prepare complex and comprehensive assessment reports for use in court proceedings in the family law, child protection and related jurisdictions.
- Provide expert opinion and evidence to the court, including being cross examined and challenged on your opinion.
- Work collaboratively with Legal Aid Queensland staff and external stakeholders about case management matters to best support families and children and their safety.
- Flexible working arrangements with a 36.25 hour full time work week

- At least five years' clinical assessment experience as Social Worker or Psychologist
- Current registration with the Psychology Board of Australia or eligibility for membership with the AASW.
- Knowledge of child development theory
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients with complex needs
