As a Family Day Care educator you are able to operate your own service under the support and guidance of a high quality scheme. You are able to operate your own service, working your own days and hours, along with setting your own daily rate for the care you provide.

Midcoast Family Day Care is a long-standing, high-quality Family Day Care scheme supporting educators across the Mid North Coast of NSW. We are a family-owned business with our main office in the Coffs Harbour area, another in Grafton and qualified and experienced support coordinators stationed across the coast. Our service is welcoming educators to register with our service from across the Mid North Coast of NSW including The Coffs Coast, The Clarence Valley, Northwest Slopes, Macleay Valley, Hastings Valley, and surrounding areas
Midcoast FDC has been operating for over 14 years and promotes a family- base, collaborative and supportive business model. We are a service that is proud to acknowledge the achievements of our educators on a local and national scale, through national title nominations through our FDC peak body and scheme awards.
We pride ourselves on being flexible and accommodating to individuals who register with Midcoast FDC and work with you to achieve the goals you set in place.
About you:
- A minimum of Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Complete and current First Aid and CPR (HLTAID012) or be willing to obtain
- Knowledge of child development, the EYLF, NQS and Regulations.
- A current WWCC and Police check or be willing to obtain
You will be a passionate advocate for children, families and early childhood education and care. You will have knowledge of or be willing to gain knowledge of documenting children’s learning and be an efficient communicator.
