Exciting news - Here at Edge Early Learning, we have a new role opening with the opportunity to join our wonderful and established Family Engagement Team.
Position Overview -
Working alongside the Family Engagement Manager, Head of Marketing and Communications and Centre Directors, the Family Engagement Coordinator is primarily responsible for building quality relationships with potential families while providing them with a smooth experience from enquiry to enrolment.
As an integral part of Edge’s enrolment journey with new families, the Family Engagement Coordinator will be the first point of contact for all new families enquiring with Edge Early Learning and will therefore be responsible for ensuring families are provided with important information about individual centres within a timely manner and will work with Centre Directors to ensure that enquiries are converted to enrolments.
Key Responsibilities -
- Communicate in a positive and engaging manner with families online, phone and in person.
- Maintain new and existing centre enrolments and waitlists via the CRM and Kidsoft.
- Ensure accurate family information is retained and confidentiality is maintained.
- Promote Edge Early Learning to perspective new families.
- Booking and conducting centre tours.
- Converting centre enquiries to enrolments.
- Support Centre Directors to fill vacancies.
- Provide Child Care Subsidy quotes to families.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to identify best practice and areas for improvement to support Family Engagement and experiences.
- Establish yourself as the link between Edge Early Learning and families including supporting events undertaken by Edge Early Learning team members.
- Provide support to new centres through the entirety of the enrolment journey including all forms of communications, newsletter updates, tours, and enrolment questions.
Additional Responsibilities -
- Actively participate as a team member while supporting the achievement of Edge Early Learning’s purpose, vision, and goals.
- Provide a high standardof customer serviceto all stakeholders.
- Actively commit to and perform work in accordance with quality standards and continuous improvement, identifying and communicating improvement opportunities.
- Adhere to Edge Early Learning’s policies and procedures and comply with all legislation and regulations.
- Participate and advocate for company culture activities including occasional outside work hours events.
- Participate in professional development, performance appraisal processes and feedback systems.
- Ensure the integrity of Edge Early Learning by role modelling the company ethos in all communications and actions.
- Travel to centres to support Centre Directors in person, this may include occasional interstate travel.
Qualifications and Requirements -
- Early Learning Sector prior experience beneficial but not essential.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to adapt to a changing work environment and role.
- Demonstrated ability to apply a strategic approach to business development.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills to engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- High level of tenacity, possess excellent time management and organisational skills.
- The ability to build effective relationships.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, legislation and industry awards.
- Strong problem solving, decision making and negotiation skills, and demonstrated ability to manage challenges.
- Available after hours on occasion for attending functions/events.
- Intermediate computer skills with the ability to use a CRM, Kidsoft, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Working with Children (Blue Card) – Essential.
- Valid driver’s license.
