Due to sustained growth, we are looking for a motivated Family Law Advisory Accountant to join our growing team. Someone who has a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a professional accounting or legal practice, working to support clients through what are often difficult family circumstances.
ROLE SUMMARY
Our Business Advisory Team are collaborative problem solvers working closely with clients to offer real solutions. You will be involved in helping clients navigate difficult family matters, and helping stakeholders understand complex financial issues. You will be involved with property valuation and division, explaining complex business structures and transactions, interpreting and understanding financial data, and estate planning. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of accounting and Family Law principles, and a commitment to providing outstanding client service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research and information gathering.
- Preparing client balance sheets.
- Analyzing client bank statements and money trails.
- Reviewing client financial accounts for discrepancies.
- Business valuation preparation.
- Family Law mediation support.
- Report writing.
- Communicating with external lawyers and clients.
- Preparation and attendance at client meetings.
ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 5+ years professional accounting or legal practice experience with exposure to Australian Tax & Accounting, Consulting or Business Services.
- CA/CPA qualified.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality advice for clients.
