Accountant

A highly motivated person is needed to join our team. We are looking for an accountant who can work under pressure, autonomously and within a team.! As part of a dynamic team, you will undertake the completion and analysis of a wide variety of accounting tasks, for a diverse range of client portfolios. 

About the role

Manage a portfolio of clients, providing comprehensive accounting services.

Specifically

• Able to prepare financial statements & tax returns for sole traders, companies, individuals, partnerships, and Trust (SMSF desired but not required).
• Able to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual BAS, IAS and TPAR returns.
• Able to liaise directly with clients to respond to queries or provide information as requested.
• Able to communicate with ATO in relation to various matters.

About You: 

• Minimum 2+ accounting experience in taxation 
• University degree in Commerce, Accounting or Business
• Proficiency in Microsoft office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Able to use various accounting & payroll Software (Xero, MYOB, and Reckon preferred)
• Able to use Handisoft
• A motivated attitude to go above and beyond the call of responsibility.
