Provide a range of child-focused interventions and works to increase parenting capacity, build healthy relationships between parents and their children and provide safe family environments. Based in Salisbury.
The Role
Family Practitioners will provide practical and therapeutic in-home support, group work, as well as linking families to community networks and services to enhance family functioning. Issues that are addressed are multiple and complex and include but not inclusive domestic abuse, substance use, poverty, mental health, trauma and child development.

What you need to bring
- Social Work Degree or equivalent
- Experience in working intensively with families and children
- Knowledge of Child Protection Legislation
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability to undertake some work out of standard work hours when required
- Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check.
- Understanding of Drug & Alcohol issues and services
- Case Management Experience
- Experience in AOD work highly desired
