About the opportunity
We have an exciting new opportunity for a passionate Family Violence Case Manager to join our Crisis and Homelessness Services Program.
The Case Manager will provide case management support to older women who are victim survivors of family violence. The role will support women accommodated within a specialist family violence facility to source sustainable longer-term accommodation options. The Case Manager will also assist clients to access individually tailored supports and establish links within their local community.
The position will be predominantly based at the specialist family violence facility within Ringwood area, with some meetings at our Ringwood office.

About you
To be successful in your application you will meet the person specification in the position description including having a Diploma of Community Services, Welfare or related discipline. Tertiary qualifications in Social Work or Community Services would be advantageous.
You will also have:
- An understanding of the dynamics of family violence and its impact on women
- Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act
- Demonstrated experience working within the housing and homelessness sector or other related community services field
- Demonstrated experience delivering consumer-centered case management support
- Proven ability work collaboratively with other programs and services to achieve optimal outcomes for clients
