Leave Safe Stay Safe is an innovative new FDV program run at Bandyup Prison to support women who are currently incarcerated to address Family Violence prior to being released from prison.
This role delivers a 12 week ‘Seeking Safety’ group program and provides 1:1 case support for women in Bandyup Prison, to help them address issues around:
- Family Violence
- Housing issues
- Children and family issues
- Child Protection and
- Referrals to legal services
The Leave Safe Program is a partnership between Gosnells CLC, Regional Alliance West and Relationships Australia, and this role will have full support and resourcing from all three partner agencies.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience working with women experiencing Family Violence
- Knowledge of FDV services and supports available in WA
- Excellent case management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- WA driver's licence
- Passion for individual services and supports
