The role:
- Assist adults to recover from their experience of Family Violence through the provision of information, assessment, counselling, referrals, group work, and other appropriate forms of therapeutic intervention.
- Contribute to and participate in the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of programs and group sessions.
- Provide information and support, referral and advice to clients and other service providers.
- Assess and monitor the ongoing risk and safety needs of the adults affected by Family Violence who access the service.
- Identify, develop, provide or purchase the services required to meet the needs of adults affected by Family Violence.

The team:
- Family Violence Worker - Adult Program (FVCSS) is a free Department of Health service which provides support to people who have experienced Family Violence.
- The Family Violence Worker - Adult Program (FVCSS) provides support to the person identified as the victim of Family Violence, in intimate partner relationships.
- Family Violence Worker - Adult Program (FVCSS) is part of the Tasmanian Government Safe at Home integrated response to Family Violence.

Fixed term, part time, day worker position working 30.4 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 30 June 2025

Location: Launceston, Tasmania
Salary: $71,441 to $107,878 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022
Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
- Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board or in the case of self-regulated allied health professions with either full membership or eligible for membership with the relevant professional association
- Current Working with Children Registration
