Job description
50 farm workers are required for a banana farm in Emerald Queensland on a casual basis for between 6 and 9 months for immediate start. Wages will be paid at standard Horticulture awards rates and work will be over 5-6 days per week, depending on weather conditions. The average minimum weekly work hours is approximately 30 hours per week but will differ from week to week depending on crop requirements. The work is physically demanding and there are regular periods of hot and humid weather so workers need to be physically and self-motivated. Own transport is not necessary. Previous experience not necessary but will be favourable Daily duties may include: Field work - Harvesting, irrigation, pruning of crop and other field duties as directed by your team leader
