SalaryCulburra Pastoral is seeking an individual who enjoys mechanical and fabrication work, but is also enthusiastic about agriculture, including on-farm machinery operation, livestock handling and other tasks. A current driver’s licence is essential (truck licence looked on favourably). The person we are looking for is:
- Practically minded with Mechanical aptitude and enjoys Mechanical work
- Enthusiastic about agriculture
- Looking for long term employment
- Comfortable with responsibility knowing errors can influence the success of the whole season;
- Willing and capable of using apps, basic guidance systems and keeping physical records
- A good communicator with a team-oriented approach
About The Job
Mechanical maintenance and fabrication is not the only part of the job, but it will be an ongoing part of the job. Your tasks can include basic servicing, machinery modifications, machinery repairs, general livestock duties, property maintenance, machinery operation including but not limited to; boomspray, seeder, baler, truck, header and loader work. Long hours may be required periodically, during seeding and harvest.
- Work alongside two qualified mechanics performing machinery servicing, maintenance and fabrication
- Farm tasks can include cattle handling and care, pasture sowing and management, cropping, and Machinery operation.

About Us
Culburra Pastoral is a family-owned and run mixed farming operation consisting of black angus beef cattle, small scale cropping, opportunistic hay production and lucerne seed. We are located 13km South West of Tintinara in the Upper SE of South Australia.
The Location:
Tintinara is a small, thriving town situated only 2 hours from Adelaide with plenty of social opportunities. Great amenities for families include an area school with years reception to year 12, a kindergarten, occasional care, family day-care, football/netball, tennis and cricket clubs, social basketball and netball, playgroup, etc.
