Willogoleche Wind Farm is located 5km from the town of Hallett in South Australia. The 32 turbines have a combined generation capacity of 119 MW, giving the Wind Farm the capability of powering 80,000 homes across the state!
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled electrical servicing of wind turbines and site infrastructure
- Perform high voltage switching operations according to site procedures as required.
- Maintain reports using GE’s various software management tools and databases, ensure all work is performed in accordance with the organisation’s SWMS, LOTO, EHS and associated policies / procedures.
- Over Time hours are available as wanted amongst the team.
- 37.5 hour working week, currently on a 5 day work week (7am-2:30pm) with flexibility.
- On-call roster varies amongst team
About You
- Must be a qualified electrician or Mechanical Fitter
- Proficient in fault finding electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment,
- Trained to an intermediate level in computer skills.
- Ability to complete physically demanding tasks at heights.
