THE ROLE
Our client is a seeking “a-whole-next-level” of Farm Operations Manager for their Border Rivers, Aggregation.
Reporting directly to the investment owners this ‘hands-on business co-ordinator’ role is responsible for all day-to-day operations across the >10,000 Ha aggregation.
You will gain overall management and operation of all farm enterprises and assets. Plus work closely with farm consultants in all aspects of dryland and irrigated cropping including rotations and planning decisions. In addition you will have the responsibility to liaise with cotton/grain/livestock marketers, input resellers and various farm support agents.
As such YOU get the Keys to the Farm!
The aggregation has been thoughtfully developed to ensure reliability and productivity, and as such has the scale, substantial water assets and high-quality infrastructure to suit a highly dynamic operator wanting more responsibility and/or recognition in the cotton and grain industry.
Whilst the scale of the operations will require comprehensive experience, what’s great and dynamic for this opportunity is that the owners are prepared to ‘cut-the-role-to-fit’ YOUR experience (established or developing) and will wrap resources around YOU (i.e. business versus cropping management as required).
What’s more important initially will be the high-level motivation to succeed by developing a clear vision to run a growing and profitable business using the high-level resources available to YOU.
