We are currently seeking a Farming Business Technologist to enhance our Farming Operations group located within our revolutionary Remote Operations Centre on Hobarts waterfront. This full time role involves owning all applications, systems, and basic hardware architecture, including our current portfolio and the growing number of applications and systems used across the group.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with the core IT team to define, build, and operate our comprehensive suite of IT & OT products.
- Identify areas for digital transformation across our farming group and manage various capabilities internally and externally to generate transformational outcomes.
- Train and map processes to ensure successful delivery of outcomes.
What You'll Need:
Essential: Knowledge of SQL, databases, reporting and Data Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau); ability to find insights in diverse datasets; and skills to provide decision-making tools to farming teams.
Highly desirable: experience with complex problems, business analysis skills, knowledge of development processes, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, agility in dynamic situations, and some experience in aquaculture/agriculture.
