Capalaba, QLD (Brisbane)

Base salary: $47,575

We produce a range of garments for everyday training and exercise as well as custom competitive wear for gymnastics teams all over the world.

Sylvia P Group is currently hiring Production Assistants to join any of your preferred departments listed below:

1. Heat Press Embellishment Applicator Team
2. Fabric Cutting Team
3. Print Machine Team
4. Sublimation Press Team
5. Gluing Team

These positions will be fixed-term contract until approximately end of January 2024, with the possibility of a permanent role, although cannot be guaranteed at this early stage.

1. Heat Press Embellishment Applicator

• Operate a heat press machine
• Applying sparkling crystals to our garments
• Create the extra bling that our customers love!

2. Fabric Cutting

• Use an automated cutting machine called Pathfinder. Manual fabric cutting when needed
• Laying up our beautiful and high quality fabrics
• Off-loading cut panels, sorting and distribute throughout our factories

3. Print Machine Operator

• Preparing printed graphics and fabrics for sublimation press day
• Lay-up artwork in preparation for printing and monitoring print errors
• Managing stock level of ink and print paper and re-ordering when required

4. Sublimation Press Operator

• Laying up fabrics and cutting panels using cutting machine.
• Operating the sublimation printing machine.

5. Applique Technician (Gluing)

• Using a gluing spray to apply fabrics to one another based on template supplied
• Following instructions outlined on the job ticket
