space that brings together our vibrant community, in a beautiful setting.
The Role
We are looking for an outgoing and highly motivated individual that has a
passion for the hospitality industry. The successful candidate will join our
thriving F&B teams – a group of passionate individuals that pride
themselves on exceptional guest experiences and guiding customers
through our locally produced food menu and fabulous drinks list.
The food and beverage manager is responsible for all food & beverage operations and standards for the North Byron Hotel FOH Team. Supporting the
operations manager in all FOH procedures, whilst working closely with our
duty managers on shift to ensure all guidelines are being met.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Team management, including: staff training, rostering, and
procedures; Expectation of leading by example through hands-on
service in both floor & bar and driving the team; - Foster positive work culture;
- Experience with bookings & events;
- Managing guest standards and engagement;
- Weekly ordering,
- Point of Sale and BOH organisation and updates;
- Cocktail list creation & execution, and maintaining standard of food &
drinks being delivered to guests.
What you need
The successful applicant will be energetic, enthusiastic and will need to
demonstrate:
- Minimum of 3+ years bar management experience
- Strong customer service experience and a passion for food and
beverage - Exceptional product knowledge of beers, wine and cocktails
- Excellent presentation and attention to detail
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
- Current NSW RSA Certificate
