About the RoleThe
Feasibility Study Manager is responsible for leading and managing the
Feasibility Study process for potential projects within Mineral Technologies. This leadership role will build an extensive customer relationship network resulting in a pipeline of WA centric study work. Leveraging our Business Development and Engineering & Projects team, this position will actively source engineering opportunities through a proactive sales performance approach to identify prospects that can be transformed from proposals to studies, leading to the successful acquisition of projects.
- Utilising industry knowledge and networks to bring in new engineering study opportunities to support the Head of WA Business, General Manager of Engineering and Projects and Business Development team in securing future pipeline opportunities.
- Support new business opportunities with potential customers at all stages of the bidding cycle, working closely with the Business Development team.
- Prepare content for effective, persuasive proposals, tenders or sales presentations that effectively demonstrate the value proposition for the capabilities and experience of the company.
- Execute studies through collaboration with the engineering and design managers and other support teams to ensure successful execution of study and project delivery with a focus on budget, quality of design outputs and utilisation of resources.
- Develop robust relationships with Business Development and the Engineering & Project teams.
- Build constructive and respectful relationships with new and existing clients.
- Demonstrate integrity and responsibility through honest, respectful, and transparent communication.
About You- Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Structural Engineering or Process Engineering
- Engineering delivery studies experience within the fine mineral processing or iron ore industry desirable
- Knowledge and experience in the development of feasibility studies all the way to contract delivery in the fine mineral processing or iron ore industry.
- Must be results driven and have well developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- A strong ability to rapidly grasp the nuances of client / market needs in complex situations with competing demands.
- Experience in review and estimating engineering design studies up to a value of $1.5M
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels of business, both internally and externally.
