About the Role

The ideal candidate for these roles will be someone who has extensive experience supporting participants who have high complex healthcare support needs and takes pride in the supports they provide. Due the complexity and supports needs of our participant we are looking for Female Support Staff who are experienced in Peg Feeding, Manual Handling, Dysphasia and can easily commute to Beveridge VIC.
The hours of support are 24/7 Monday to Sunday including sleepover shifts.
N.B: If you are currently studying or are a new graduate with a certificate in Disability, Aged Care, or any relevant qualifications in the health sector e.g. Diploma/Bachelor of Nursing, we would love to hear from you!

Essential skills and experiences required to be successful in this role
- Hold a Certificate or currently studying Cert IV in Disability or in Aged Care, Cert III Individual Support, Dip Mental Health, or Minimum work experience within the Care Service Sector.
- Current First Aid/ CPR Qualifications
- Working with Children Check.
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance.
- Current Australian Driver’s License
- A minimum availability of 3 FULL BUSINESS DAYS with additional shifts and weekends available.
- Ability to work independently and exceptional time management.
- Experience supporting people with Mental Health and Complex Behaviours.
- Willing to complete NDIS Orientation Module and any other modules required prior to commencing employment.
Desired
A relevant qualification or experience in the following is desired:
- Knowledge and experience with high care participants who have tendency to self-harm.
- Can Assist Clients with Medication.
