About the role
Working in the Bailiff Office, we are seeking a regional WA Field Officer in the Kalgoorlie area to serve and execute warrants, orders and serve documents on behalf of the Magistrates Courts. The geographic area covered for this role, includes Kalgoorlie to Esperance zone. You will also attend to field calls on Fines Enforcement Registry Matters, Department of Transport matters, State Administrative Tribunal, WA Police Proceeds of Crime document services and General Private Field call activity and other clients work as requested.
As a WA field officer/agent, you will travel to multiple locations within your designated regional area and meet people face to face for the service for the enforcement and service of documents, seizures, summons, arrests, evictions and public auctions. We have an opportunity available only in this Kalgoorlie to Esperance zone currently and the role suits an assertive person with Justice, Police or process serving experience with a strong propensity to evaluate and manage risk and deliver a high level of professionalism. You will work very closely with several Government Departments regionally on a regular basis, including but not limited to; WA Police, Magistrates Courts & Dept. of Communities/Housing.

- Ability to work autonomously in field & remotely and as part of a wider team in the Perth CBD office
- Motivated to achieve team and client contract expectations and results
- The ability to make quick and critical decisions in field and have safety & risk mitigation as the number one priority
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills – to be able to talk and explain situations very clearly & to defuse potentially threatening situations and handle them effectively and ensure safely for all parties
- Attention to detail is a must have, based on our compliance to legislation and document serving for the Magistrates Courts and Department of Transport and all clients

- High degree of emotional intelligence and honesty
Essential to the role
- Your own, reliable good condition vehicle, GPS
- Current, clean drivers licence and clean annual National Police check
- Time Orientated & self-managed as a Field Agent
- Tablet and normal IT and Microsoft proficiency (excel/outlook etc.)
- Cool temperament
Full process serving and safety training is provided and we provide state of the art body worn cameras, safety load bearing vests and CBD office team support. In return, we offer flexible casual working hours, a competitive hourly rate, and km claim rate, and office & field induction training and ongoing training to increase performance and compliance and the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of people as part of the Civil Enforcement Team in the Perth Modern CBD office.
