About the role
We have an exciting newly created opportunity for a Field Coach to join us on this journey and contribute positively to the continued success of the Company. This role isn’t office work - it’s hands-on and challenging, like the industry we work in - hospitality! As a guide this will include:
- Coaching and developing our cafe management team in all areas of their cafes including operational processes, staff, achieving their financial key result areas of sales, labour including rostering; and food cost control and store presentation.
- Mentoring and training the store management team on effective people management; and staffing levels.
- Implementing new and improved operating processes as and when required in line with the Miss Maud framework and actively participating in continuous improvement - lean thinking initiatives.

Skills and experience
While this list is, in no way, conclusive, we expect you’ll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience to be able to excel in this role:
- A driven and enthusiastic hospitality/ cafe manager with strong 5 years + experience in a similar role
- Ability to quickly identify instore opportunities and help cafe managers to solutions.
- A keen understanding of financial outcomes and how operations affect the profitability of the store
- A “roll your sleeves up” Coach with a keen interest in training and developing others to achieve the required results.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities, balancing ‘day to day' vs ‘project work'
- Communicates effectively and professionally with all levels within the Company
