AddressFIELD ELECTRICIAN/TECHNICIAN
Recurrent Energy, subsidiary of Canadian Solar are seeking expressions of interests for:
- Solar Farm located in Woolooga, QLD.
If you are motivated, organised and an independent field technician wanting to play a rewarding role in exceptional maintenance of our Solar Farm’s operations. Please read ahead.
Responsibilities:
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting various project systems issues
- Developing standard operating documents for machine maintenance, operations and training
- Overseeing and supervising sub-contractors
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, manuals and schematics
- Valid electrical qualifications license
- HV electrical qualification desirable
- Valid Australian drivers license
- Experience in electrical maintenance and repairing various types of electrical equipment with preferred experience in renewables and solar
- Willingness for some roster flexibility for on call and emergency works where required
- Sound computer skills
This position is set on an 8 on and 6 days off roster, and requires work outside of normal daytime hours. We are looking for candidates who live locally or are able to drive in and drive out. You may also be requested to travel to other Solar Farms for a pre-determined period of time to support or train. Employment in this position is conditional upon completion of pre-employment medical screening.
