Job Description: We are looking for a qualified Solar Electrician with expertise in solar design and installation. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary accreditations for solar design and installation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Having additional accreditation in battery installation and maintenance is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Design and plan solar power systems for residential and commercial properties.
- Install solar panels, inverters, and other related equipment.
- Perform site assessments to determine the feasibility and optimal placement of solar systems.
- Ensure all installations comply with local codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of solar power systems.
- Install and maintain battery storage systems (if accredited).
- Provide exceptional customer service, including educating clients on solar system operation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
Qualifications:
- Valid accreditation in solar design and installation
- Proven experience in designing and installing solar power systems.
- Additional accreditation in battery installation and maintenance is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including knowledge of wiring, grounding, and electrical safety.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
