About the role
As the Field Impact Dispatch Officer you will be working closely with the Field Operations work group, regional Field Operations field-based teams, Maintenance and Production & Treatment, Service Continuity, Customer Connections, Billing and Capital Delivery teams. You will be responsible for identifying, monitoring, and acting upon service interruptions and enabling field teams to deliver customer outcomes and deliver work in the most effective and efficient manner to achieve first time customer resolutions.
Along with this you will also be responsible for the following:
- Identify and reduce constraints which effect efficient operation and customer expectations
- Support works management capability concerns and capacity constraints in overflow of demand of workflow
- Communicate with and provide community support teams all the necessary information during/after an incident to manage and minimise impacts for all customers
- Engage works management reporting for works management activities
- Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement in work processes
- Build and maintain collaborative and effective relationships across the end to end works management process
- Provide support in crew management within the scheduling and dispatch tool for each district in accordance with statewide crew structures.
Key requirements of the role include:
- Experience in prioritising workloads to meet required timeframes
- Technical or administrative qualifications and/or relevant operational/workflow experience
- Experience and understanding of work management systems, planning processes and work prioritisation
- Strong IT literacy and ability to learn and apply new business applications
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Highly desirable to have experience with CLICK, WOA, Maximo and relevant operational knowledge
- Flexibility with working shifts from 6am to 6pm
- Required to hold a current driver’s licence at all times
