How will you support our “Why?”
As our Field Network Engineer, you will be involved in the following activities and outcomes:
- Work closely with the other Technology areas, operational and support teams to ensure a cohesive approach across Aussie Broadband’s Data Centres and Facilities
- Be an integral voice and contributor in the design and architecture of Aussie Broadband’s Data Centres and Facilities, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and superior performance.
- Co-ordinating and managing contractors in the field to ensure smooth and reliable delivery of all services.
- Installation, testing and maintenance of network and server equipment, network patching and other tasks within all the Aussie Broadband locations as required.
- Investigation and rectification of network, server and fibre faults within data centres, POI sites, the Aussie fibre network, and other locations as required.
- Equipment installation, turn-up & testing, and maintenance at customer locations
- Network & Server configuration maintenance as directed by the network and server teams.
- Maintaining a supply of spare equipment.
- Management of LOA’s, Cross connects, Data Centre rack allocations.
