They have a commitment to employee career growth, and are looking for someone like you to step into their Field Service Engineer position.
You'll be joining an established Engineering team (great group of people) that cover Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and other international destinations as they come up.
You will play a part in new machine installs, maintenance, repairs modifications and upgrades of existing machines. Offering support at customer sites and acting as an interface between the customer and company HQ.
This role offers an exposure to the latest technology. Full state of the art training will be provided including a yearly trip to Germany 🇩🇪

The Role:
- Monday – Friday
- Install machinery based on plans and engineering
drawings. - Assist customers with the maintenance for newly installed equipment.
- Execute modifications and upgrades of existing machines.
- Customer support and care at customer sites acting as an interface between customer and HQ.
- Provide technical support to customers to reduce equipment downtime.
- Commission special machinery.
- Perform machine inspections and audits.
- Reading & following SOP's.
- Follow safe work practices at all times.
- Play a key role within a team focused on the development and execution of efficient maintenance practices on the site.
- Assist with ordering components and liaise with suppliers and OEMs as necessary.
- Contributing to their approach of continuous improvement and helping to achieve world class operational performance.
- Highlight areas for improvement to reduce maintenance-related downtime.
- Troubleshoot problems and eliminate causes of machine downtime.
About you:
- Degree in Engineering or Trade qualified Mechanical or Electrical.
- Extensive knowledge of machinery for the beverage/packaging industry and work experience of at least 3 years.
- Advanced conversational knowledge of English.
- Willingness to travel within Australia and abroad.
- Ability to develop relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Strong computer literacy and knowledge of maintenance systems.
- Exceptional fault finding & problem-solving skills.
- Stakeholder management skills (ability to work effectively in collaboration with management and customers).
Salary and Package:
- Monday to Friday with optional O/T work at O/T rates.
- 38 hours per week Day shift $85,000 - $95,000 base pa+ Super + car + laptop, phone and everything else you require to do your job!
